  Huntsville businessman Ben Bius has filed for District 5 state senator in the 2012 Republican primary, his campaign announced Wednesday. Bius announced his campaign on November 10, with a district wide tour. He filed papers with the Texas Secretary of State’s Office on Tuesday.
